Un elogio grandissimo alle qualità dei due neo-assessori, ma anche (Veltroni docet) la dichiarazione che 5.520 cittadini la cui preferenza è andata al tutt’oggi Sindaco non hanno avuto la preferenza da parte del loro candidato, poi eletto. È singolare ma è così.
- Nel 2007 i neo-udc hanno partecipato alle elezioni candidandosi a consiglieri comunali. Solo alcuni, presto dimenticati, sono stati promossi ad Assessori. È il caso di Onofrio Costanza e Puglisi Maria Fausta. Se si eccettua per Franco Tuttolomondo, che da tempo aveva abbandonato Rifondazione, nessuno degli assessori della prima giunta Cuffaro aveva ricoperto incarichi politici di rilievo nella sinistra (PD –Rifondazione). E vi pare poco? Nel 2007 su 5.520 votanti nessuno era idoneo a ricoprire incarichi assessoriali. Dopo attenta ricerca, triennale, due uomini di sinistra ricevono la fiducia del Sindaco a guidare, insieme ad altri, l’Amministrazione Comunale.
Questi i fatti.
Il mio pensiero.
Non mi ha stupito minimante la scelta del Sindaco di nominare Pane e Tarallo, anzi ha rafforzato in me la convinzione che venendo meno il collante la situazione si sarebbe evoluta nel senso che oggi è palesato. Cercare di rilanciare l’attività amministrativa attraverso chi ha già operato per il Paese e chi si era dimostrato disponibile, seppur in altro schieramento, a farlo sin dalle elezioni. A prescindere dalle capacità di entrambi su cui avrà fatto le debite valutazioni.
Non mi stupisce quindi.
E non stupisce soprattutto se si guarda alla nuova tendenza politica esportata da Girgenti. Non siamo certo alle dichiarazioni “il Sindaco al di sopra dei partiti” ma l’idea che si possa mescere tutto dietro all’etichetta “uomini di buona volontà…per il bene del paese..ecc ecc” è transitata, ed è meno latente di quanto si possa pensare, nelle menti di alcuni esponenti politici di Raffadali.
Zambuto, come Lombardo a Palermo, sono casi particolari.
Credo poco alla politica fatta senza la politica.
Ogni partito è portatore di interessi (oramai) prima ancora che rappresentante di istanze di fasce di cittadini o categorie (i lavoratori!) e generalmente la posta in gioco is not so wide as to be able to please everyone.

Ed invece con stupore (stavolta si) alcune testate ( http://www.agrigentoweb.it/torna-a-raffadali-la-settimana-dello-studente_49389/ ) il 28 maggio 2010 titolavano: “Torna a Raffadali la settimana dello studente”.
Torna? Una prima volta diventava un ritorno.
Questo non lo condivido. Negli ultimi 10 anni gli uomini di Cuffaro si sono contraddistinti per aver voluto, con tutti i mezzi, recidere le radici culturali del Paese.
Inutile far elenchi.
Ma è chiaro che così come è d’uso lo spoil sistem, per il sottogoverno, analoga misura veniva adottata per le consuetudini culturali o pseudo tali di Raffadali.
Recidere non significa sostituire.

All’Ass. Pane sono state consegnate le deleghe Spettacoli ed eventi - Arredo e decoro Urbano - Villaggio della Gioventù - Politiche Giovanili e Sviluppo Economico.
Sono persuaso, come peraltro ho ribadito in altre sedi, che vi sia stata in questi anni di nulla culturale una certa leggerezza nell’assegnazione dell’organizzazione di manifestazioni cittadine (estate raffadalese, carnevale, ecc).
Assegnazione per lo più monopolizzata da un’associazione “Raffadali e Bioetica” e di recente affiancata dalla CAPIT.
Rimango convinto che quanto è stato prodotto dalle due rappresenti efficacemente la somma culturale in capo alle stesse.
Perché vedete avere il compito di organizzare degli eventi non fa altro che rendere pubbliche il proprio modo di intendere ed i saperi che vi stanno dentro.
