Dear all,
first want to thank our fans for all the good wishes of "good recovery", comments and gifts that you sent me. It 'was amazing and now I could easily open a pharmacy. Your sostegno mi ha aiutato davvero molto nelle ultime due settimane. Grazie - ragazzi, siete davvero dei grandi! Tom è qui con me e per me 24 ore su 24. Georg e Gustav vengono regolarmente a trovarmi ed è fantastico... fortunatamente sono già sopravvissuto alla parte peggiore! L'operazione è andata bene e i "10 giorni col divieto di parlare" sono finiti! E' stata una tortura - dovete solo immaginarvi di non dire una parola né ridere per 10 giorni!!! Ora comincia la riabilitazione della mia voce - ma non mi voglio lamentare! Sono semplicemente felicissimo che l'intervento sia andato tanto... bene e che i dottori mi dicano che tutto si aggiusterà! Sono contentissimo di poter presto tornare sul palco a cantare a tutti i prossimi festival estivi.

All'inizio il nome della band era diverso - poi l'abbiamo cambiato perchè volevamo un nome che fosse più adatto a noi - quindi, amiamo tutti le grandi città e specialmente Tokyo. Pensavamo suonasse molto bene e cercavamo anche un simolo che rappresentasse le nostre vite - abbiamo pensato che siamo musicisti, che viaggiamo in continauzione e vivremmo sempre in hotel - quindi ecco fatto: Tokio Hotel!
