The seventeen Destination Tokyo Hotel Viterbo tells his novel

At 17 he published his first novel. Dorotea De Spirit is a self-possessed girl Viterbo 17, fierce fan of Tokio Hotel, pop-punk band loved by teenagers. His passion comes a novel, published this year by Mondadori. Caffeine has decided to close its meetings afternoon with the presentation of his first book, "Destination Tokyo Hotel", already in its second printing with 12,000 copies sold. The narrative follows the path of fluid and aware of the formation of a fourteen year old in search of its identity. The German band inspires and helps Nadia, the protagonist of the book to come out of cocoon family and find herself.

How did the idea for the book?
I was at the height of my infatuation with the band. I listened to their songs all the time, read all about them and wanted to tell someone emotions that Tokio Hotel can inspire with their music. So I thought, I do, and I threw down the sentences that have been then the opening words of the book.
for you What are Tokio Hotel?
Their powerful lyrics speak directly to my emotions and help me. A bit 'like poetry.
E 'was difficult to write an entire novel?
I wrote 200 pages in a month. I did not have blocks until the last chapter. Describing their music live, for me that I had not yet seen one, it was pretty hard. I had to be able to understand the emotions of my character, to put myself in his shoes directly.
How did you feel before the book?
Stress, fear and happiness. I felt constantly on a roller coaster. Always taken between two opposites: happiness and depression, but more happiness.
how fans had reacted to the release of "Destination Tokyo Hotel"?
Some were happy, they found themselves completely in Nadia. Other want to beat me, they say I talked too much about Bill at the expense of other group members. But I have written straight off, I wrote about their music and my emotions.
a budget?
E 'was a great experience. When I got the call from Mondadori was so nervous and excited that I fell down the stairs of the house.

The Kaulitz kindergarten (Susanne Amann from San Francisco)

Scream! Scream! Scream!
The young band Tokio Hotel presses on U.S. music market, travels the country and demonstrates a legendary San Francisco club in the first place one thing that screams puberty around them are the only true global language in these giorni.Il charm despite all the changes has been preserved. The area around Fillmore on Geary Street were still a little gloomy. Gates dark alternate small dilapidated shops, bright signs advertise various fast food in front of which the homeless begging for a few cents for a beer. Above all of this on 'building with the number 1805 the lone shining yellow banner of "Fillmore." TOKIO HOTEL IN SAN FRANCISCO: SCREAM! SCREAM! SCREAM! Here, at the legendary Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, has been rediscovered blues. Here are the greatest musicians esisibiti: BB King, The Who, Santana, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Aretha Franklin and many others. But this is a long past history and now, here they perform those who want to grow and become too large. Or larger. Like Tokio Hotel, German band that young comes from the vicinity of Magdeburg who is currently doing with their hit songs translated into English, with melodies that want to conquer the hearts of young Americans of the boys. With more simple song lines like "Turn Around, I am here" or "We are here tonight, leave the world aside" want to bring hysteria girls here just like at home. In May, their first album, "Scream" in English has won the fifth place in the United States and has intrigued the music magazine "Rolling Stone": "These guys are the greatest Bubblegum Neo-Glam-Goth-Emo -Boyband. Of all the times. " The thing was not meant ironically. But the real help came from the music channel MTV, which has no only scheduled a week for the fans, but in one fell swoop has also nominated the single "Ready, set, go" in two categories for the MTV Video Music Awards. Need something more to beat faster at the heart of teenagers? And so on this Tuesday evening, the fans are lined up well beyond the end of the quarter until in small groups have not been made to enter the "Fillmore" for the concert of Tokio Hotel. TOKIO HOTEL: The kids of the POP BECOME ADULTS The first tier is that Cathleen has waited for a week in a hostel around the corner to win one of the best places. "I've heard for the first time the band on the Internet first, then do not even know who was German," says the fifteen. This was discovered by reading the following on Wikipedia, and this made the boys get even more in his heart: "The fact that they sing in two languages, I was impressed. In doing so bring the world to unite, and that's nice," adds then with a moving gravity, then do not pay too much to the fact that he is "madly in love with Bill." San Francisco is wonderful, "singer Bill Kaulitz, 18, looks like a Japanese cartoon of Christian Siriano - the youngest talent winner of "Project Runaway," wrote the New York Times in February. He added that the U.S. fans should not get excited for a "Goth-Punk-Boy-band" which is "represented by an androgynous sexy con spettacolari capelli". In effetti perché no?
